The Great Need For a New Revival
Message Three
The God-man Living for a New Revival
THE EXTRACT OF THE OUTLINES
Scripture reading:
1 John 4:17 In this has love been perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of the judgment because even as He is, so also are we in this world.
I. God’s heart’s desire is that the reality in Jesus would be duplicated in the many members of the Body of Christ through the Spirit of reality to become the reality of the Body of Christ, which is the highest peak in God’s economy, resulting in a new revival—Eph. 4:20-24: (Monday & Tuesday)
A. The four Gospels show us the pattern of the life that God desires, which is the mold of the life that can satisfy God and fulfill His purpose; to learn Christ according to the reality in Jesus is to be conformed to the image of Christ—Rom. 8:28-29; Eph. 4:20-21.
B. When we live in the mingled Spirit, the life of the Body of Christ as the new man should be exactly the same as the life of Jesus revealed in the Gospels—Gal. 6:17-18; Eph. 4:20-24; 1 Pet. 2:21.

II. The only life that is well pleasing to God is the duplication of the life that Christ lived on earth; this is to experience the life of Christ in the experience of Him as the burnt offering—Lev. 1:9; John 8:29; 2 Cor. 5:9: (Wednesday)
A. The burnt offering typifies Christ living a life that is absolutely for God’s satisfaction; the burnt offering also typifies Christ as the life that enables God’s people to live such a life—Lev. 1:3; John 5:30; 6:38; Heb. 10:5-10.
B. The life of Christ within us is the reality of the burnt offering, which is a life of obedience, a life of submission, and a life of complete dependence on God; for man to leave God and do things by himself and independently apart from God is sin—Phil. 2:8; John 5:19.
———————————————————————
C. We must allow the Lord to burn us so that we may be reduced to ashes in order to become the New Jerusalem; these ashes will eventually become the precious materials for the building of the New Jerusalem—Lev. 6:8-13; Rev. 3:12; 21:2, 10-11. (Thursday)

III. In fulfilling God’s New Testament ministry, the Lord Jesus as the reality of the burnt offering did nothing from Himself, He did not do His own work, He did not speak His own words, and He was never disappointed, because He only took God as His satisfaction—John 5:19; 4:34; 14:10; Isa. 42:4: (Friday)
A. The Lord’s life was His work, His move, and His ministry; to Him, there was no difference between His life, His work, and His ministry—Luke 22:26-27; John 10:10b; Phil. 1:25.
B. Because the Lord Jesus was a man of prayer who was one with God, He was never alone, because the Father was with Him, and He saw the Father’s face at every moment—Matt. 14:23; John 5:19; 16:32; Psa. 16:7-8.
———————————————————————
IV. We abide in the love that is God Himself, because even as He is, so also are we in this world; Christ is now our life so that we can live a life in this world of God being love—1 John 4:17; 3:14; 5:1; 2:6: (Saturday)
A. The law of the Spirit of life in our spirit is the law of Christ, which is the law of love; the law of love must be substantiated by the law of the Spirit of life so that we can bear one another’s burdens—Rom. 8:2; Gal. 6:2-3.
B. After His resurrection, the Lord commissioned Peter to feed His lambs and shepherd His sheep; this is to incorporate the ministry of the apostle with Christ’s heavenly ministry, resulting in the building up of the Body of Christ to have its ultimate consummation in the New Jerusalem—John 21:15-17.
OPENING WORD OF THE PROPHESYING MEETING
Reading the verses in each day.
Reading the main points in the outlines.
Pray-reading the verses:
But you did not so learn Christ, If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him as the reality is in Jesus —Eph. 4:20 -21
But its inward parts and its legs he shall wash with water. Then the priest shall burn the whole on the altar, as a burnt offering, an offering by fire, a satisfying fragrance to Jehovah—Lev. 1:9
Then he shall take off his garments and put on other garments and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place —Lev. 6:11
Word of Appetizer
What is the God-man living for a new revival?
God’s heart’s desire is that “the reality is in Jesus” (Eph. 4:21)—that is, the actual living of the God-man life of Jesus recorded in the four Gospels—could be repeated in many members of the Body of Christ through the Spirit of reality, to become the reality of the Body of Christ, which is the highest peak in the economy of God, bringing in a new revival.
The only life that pleases God is to repeat the life that Christ lived on earth; this is to experience His life in our experience of Christ as the burnt offering.
Spiritual Burden
The only life that pleases God is to repeat the life that Christ lived on earth; this is to experience His life in our experience of Christ as the burnt offering.
We must let the Lord burn us so that we may become a burnt offering offered continually, to burn others and be reduced to ashes, so that we may become the New Jerusalem for God to be expressed.
Concluding Word of the Prophesying Meeting
The Revelation of the Truth
God’s heart’s desire is that “the reality is in Jesus” (Eph. 4:21)—that is, the actual living of the God-man life of Jesus recorded in the four Gospels—could be repeated in many members of the Body of Christ through the Spirit of reality, to become the reality of the Body of Christ, which is the highest peak in the economy of God, bringing in a new revival.
In carrying out the New Testament ministry of God, the Lord Jesus, as the reality of the burnt offering, did nothing from Himself (John 5:19), He did not do His own work (4:34; 17:4), He did not speak His own words, He did nothing according to His own will (5:30), and He did not seek His own glory (7:18); He was never discouraged because He was satisfied with God alone.
The Experience of Life
The only life that pleases God is to repeat the life that Christ lived on earth; this is to experience His life in our experience of Christ as the burnt offering.
By laying our hands on Christ as the burnt offering through proper prayer, we are joined to Him, and He becomes one with us; Christ lives in us and repeats in us the life that He lived on earth—the life of the burnt offering; in such a union, in such oneness, all our weaknesses, defects, and faults are borne by Him.
Practice and Application
We abide in the love that is God Himself, and love “is perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of the judgment because even as He is, so also are we in this world” (1 John 4:17); Christ, as the reality of the burnt offering, lived a life on this earth in which God is love, and now He is our life, enabling us to live the same life of love in this world, just as He is.
When the law of love is activated within us, we automatically and spontaneously become shepherds, having the heart of our Father God for love and forgiveness and the shepherding and seeking spirit of our Savior Christ.
PROPHESYING TOPICS—TWELVE TOPICS PER WEEK
Day 1
T1: During His thirty-three and a half years on earth, Christ set a model, an example (Eph. 4:20-21; 1 Pet. 2:21).
(Please illustrate what the model of the life that God desires is.)
T2: To be saved is to be placed by God into Christ (1 Cor. 1:30; Rom. 8:29).
(Please illustrate that through baptism, God puts us into Christ, who is the model.)
Day 2
T1: The living of Jesus, which is according to the reality, is the model, and God has already placed us into it (Matt. 11:29; John 6:57).
(Please illustrate that this mold is the life of Jesus recorded in the four Gospels, which is a life entirely according to the reality.)
T2: The Lord spent thirty-three and a half years on earth living out a model of a God-man life (Matt. 11:29; John 6:57).
(Please illustrate that Christ lived, but He did not live alone; He did not live by His own life, but by the life of God.)
Day 3
T1: The only life that pleases God is to repeat the life that Christ lived on earth (Lev. 1:3, 9).
(Please illustrate that to experience Christ’s life in our experience of Christ as the burnt offering is the life that pleases God.)
T2: Laying our hands on Him proves our desire to be joined to Him and to live the life He lived on earth (Lev. 1:3, 9).
(Please illustrate that since we cannot live such a life, we must accept Christ as our burnt offering.)
Day 4
T1: God accepts the burnt offering and burns it into ashes (Lev. 6:11; 1:16).
(Why do people in general not consider ashes as something pleasant; however, to us who offer the burnt offering, the ashes are indeed pleasant.)
T2: The result of the burnt offering offered to God (Lev. 1:16; 6:10).
(Please illustrate that the ashes are not to be thrown away, but to be poured out to the east of the altar.)
Day 5
T1: Christ hoped only in God and took God as His satisfaction (John 5:19; 8:29).
(Please illustrate that anyone who takes God as their satisfaction will never be disappointed.)
T2: The Lord lived as a person of prayer (Matt. 14:23; Mark 1:35).
(Please illustrate that the Lord was a person of prayer, a person who was one with God.)
Day 6
T1: He who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him (1 John 4:16-17).
(Please illustrate that abiding in love is living a life of habitually loving others with this love, so that God can be expressed in us.)
T2: The law of Christ is the law of love (Gal. 6:2; John 13:34).
(Please illustrate that the law of Christ is the law of life that is higher and better, operating through love.)
