Message Seven

The Author (Captain) and Forerunner of Salvation Leading Many Sons into Glory by Entering Within the Veil and Going Forth Outside the Camp

THE EXTRACT OF THE OUTLINES

Scripture Reading:

Heb. 2:9-10 But we see Jesus, who was made a little inferior to the angels because of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death on behalf of everything. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

I. God’s eternal goal is to lead many sons into glory—Isa. 43:7: (Monday)

A       God created, formed, and even made us for His glory; this glory is God’s expression, that is, God expressed; our highest service to God is to express Him in glory—Isa. 43:7.

B       God’s eternal purpose is to express Himself corporately through His redeemed people—Gen. 1:26.

C       Christ as the Author, Captain, and Forerunner has taken the lead to enter into glory; now we who follow Him are on the same way and will also be brought into the same glory designated by God for us—Heb. 6:20. (Tuesday)

D       The Author (Captain) of salvation, the One in glory, the Man of God’s glory, is the seed of glory within us—Col. 1:27.

E       We are saved into glory, which is God’s expression, through the process of suffering; all our hardships assist us on our great way to Zion, that we may be transformed from glory to glory—Heb. 10:32-35.

———————————————————————————————————————-

F       Christ as the Author (Captain) of salvation saves God’s many sons organically through sanctification and leads them into glory, which is God’s corporate expression; this divine sanctification is carried out in our spirit by The Spirit Who sanctifies—Heb. 2:10-11, Eph. 1:4-5, 1 Thes. 5:23, Rom. 5:10, 15:16, Eph. 5:26. (Wednesday)

II. The goal of the book of Hebrews, which is the ultimate consummation, is for us to enter within the veil and go forth outside the camp—Heb. 6:19-20: (Thursday)

A       Entering within the veil means entering the Holy of Holies, where the Lord has already entered and is enthroned in glory; going forth outside the camp means coming out of religion, from which the Lord was rejected and cast out—Heb. 6:19-20.

———————————————————————————————————————-

B       After the children of Israel worshipped the golden calf, Moses moved to a place outside the camp, and everyone who sought the Lord went out there to meet with him, for the Lord’s presence and speaking were there—Exo. 33:7-11, cf. Num. 12:6-8: (Friday)

1       Self-adornment leads to idolatry—Exo. 32:1-3, 33:5-6, Gen. 35:2-4, cf. Exo. 28:2.

2       Idolatry is Satan usurping what God has given us and thus wasting it; this is our misuse of what God has given us, not using God’s material and spiritual giving for God’s purpose.

———————————————————————————————————————-

C       God and Moses were companions, partners, associates, sharing the same enterprise and having a common interest in a great enterprise. (Saturday)

D       Because Moses was intimate with God, he was one who understood God’s heart, acted according to God’s heart, and could touch God’s heart.

OPENING WORD OF THE PROPHESYING MEETING

Reading the verses in each day.

Reading the main points in the outlines.

Pray-reading the verses:

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers,—Heb. 2:10-11.

Word of Appetizer

What is God’s eternal goal? What is the goal of the book of Hebrews?

God’s eternal goal is to lead many sons into glory; Christ as the Author, Captain, Pioneer, and Forerunner has gone ahead into glory; now we, His followers, are on the same path and will also be brought into the same glory ordained by God for us.

The goal of the book of Hebrews, which is the ultimate consummation, is that we are to enter within the veil and go forth outside the camp; we must be in our spirit, experientially speaking, where the actual Holy of Holies is today; we must also go forth outside religion, where the actual camp is today.

Spiritual Burden

Christ, as the Author (Captain) of salvation, organically saves God’s many sons by sanctification, leading them into glory, which is the corporate expression of God; this divine sanctification is carried out by The Spirit who sanctifies in our spirit.

We need to enter within the veil and go forth outside the idolatrous camp to have the most intimate fellowship with the Lord, so that we may become people with a common interest with God, used by God to carry out His enterprise on earth.

Concluding Word of the Prophesying Meeting

The Revelation of the Truth

God’s eternal goal is to lead many sons into glory.

The goal of the book of Hebrews, which is the ultimate consummation, is that we are to enter within the veil and go forth outside the camp.

The Experience of Life

We are saved into glory, which is God’s expression, through the process of suffering; all our hardships help us on our highway to Zion, transforming us from glory to glory, making us the glorious bride of Christ.

Christ, as the Author (Captain) of our salvation, fulfills His responsibility by being our High Priest, praying for us and supplying God into us, leading us into glory.

Practice and Application

Entering within the veil means entering into our spirit; when we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we enter within the veil; we must exercise our spirit to enter within the veil, to directly contact the heavenly Christ, the man in glory, to behold Him, so as to be infused and transfused by Him, making us His corporate reproduction.

We need to enter within the veil and go forth outside the idolatrous camp to have the most intimate fellowship with the Lord, so that we may become people with a common interest with God, used by God to carry out His enterprise on earth.

PROPHESYING TOPICS—TWELVE TOPICS PER WEEK

Day 1

T1 Before Jesus became the Captain, however, He had to be perfected through sufferings (Heb. 2:10).

(Please illustrate that Jesus was already perfect, so why does the Bible say He had to be perfected?)

T2 The glory into which Christ entered is the reality of God’s divine being manifested (Heb. 2:10-11).

(Please illustrate that what is the glory into which Christ entered?)

Day 2

T1 When the Captain of our salvation comes into us, glory also comes with Him (Col. 1:27).

(Please illustrate that we may not feel it much, but Christ has indeed come into us.)

T2 Hardships can help us enter into glory (2 Cor. 4:17).

(Please illustrate that what three comparisons Paul made between the eternal weighty glory and these momentary slight affliction.)

Day 3

T1 Sanctification is the presiding line that accomplishes the divine economy (1 Thes. 5:23).

(Please illustrate that why is sanctification called the presiding line of the divine economy?)

T2 Divine sanctification, from beginning to end, is entirely the delicate work of the consummated Spirit of Christ (Heb. 13:12, 1 Thes. 5:23).

(Please illustrate that after God created man, man fell, and then how the Spirit God came to sanctify man.)

Day 4

T1 When we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we enter within the veil (Heb. 6:19-20, 13:13).

(Please illustrate that the spiritual meaning of “entering within the veil” and “going forth outside the camp.”)

T2 Seeing the key to experiencing Christ—our spirit connected to the Holy of Holies (Heb. 6:19-20, 13:13).

(Please illustrate that the Holy of Holies, God’s economy, and even the consummation of God’s economy, are all related to our spirit.)

Day 5

T1 The basic principle of idols is self-adornment (1 Cor. 10:6-7, 1 John 5:21).

(Please illustrate that what is the reason the Lord commanded the people in Exodus 33:5-6 not to have any adornment?)

T2 Idolatry is Satan usurping what God has given us, thereby spoiling it (1 Cor. 10:6-7).

(Please illustrate that another principle related to idols is mixture in worship.)

Day 6

T1 Moses’ tent of meeting was always within the camp because the Lord’s presence was among the people of Israel (Exo. 33:7).

(Please illustrate that why did Moses later pitch the tent outside the camp, a distance away from the camp?)

T2 Moses was not only a friend of God like Abraham, but even more, he was God’s companion (Exo. 33:9, 11).

(Please illustrate that the difference between “companion” and “friend.”)
