You can all prophesy one by one… —1 Cor. 12:31

2021 ITEROS Message Seven

Vital Factors for the Recovery of the Church Life

Message Seven

The Factor of Blending
for the Reality of the Body of Christ

OPENING WORD OF THE PROPHESYING MEETING

Reading the verses in each day.

Reading the main points in the outlines.

Pray-reading the verses:

1 Cor. 12:24-25 But our comely members have no need. But God has blended the body together, giving more abundant honor to the member that lacked, that there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same care for one another.

Rom. 12:4-5 For just as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we who are many are one Body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

Word of Appetizer

How do we blend for the reality of the Body of Christ?

In order to be blended for the reality of the Body of Christ, we have to go through the cross and be by the Spirit to dispense Christ to others for the building up of the Body of Christ. Such a blending is not social but the blending of the very Christ whom the individual members, the district churches, the co-workers, and the elders enjoy, experience, and partake of. We need to follow in the apostle’s footsteps to bring all the saints into the blending life of the entire Body of Christ; the apostle brought us into the blending life of the entire Body of Christ by recommendations and greetings in order that the God of peace may crush Satan under our feet, and we may enjoy the rich grace of Christ.

Spiritual Burden

The highest peak in God’s economy is the reality of the Body of Christ; the reality of the Body of Christ is absolutely organic; the Lord’s recovery is to build up Zion—the overcomers as the reality of the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem; in the church life we must endeavor to reach today’s Zion. God has blended the Body together; in order to be blended for the reality of the Body of Christ, we have to go through the cross and be by the Spirit to dispense Christ to others for the building up of the Body of Christ.

Concluding Word of the Prophesying Meeting

The Revelation of the Truth

The highest peak in God’s economy is the reality of the Body of Christ; the reality of the Body of Christ is absolutely organic.

The Lord’s recovery is for the building up of the Body of Christ; thus, to know the Body is the proper recovery of the Lord.

The Lord’s recovery is to build up Zion—the overcomers as the reality of the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem; in the church life we must endeavor to reach today’s Zion.

The desire of God’s heart is that the reality in Jesus, the Godman living of Jesus as recorded in the four Gospels, would be duplicated in the many members of Christ’s Body by the Spirit of reality to become the reality of the Body of Christ, the highest peak in God’s economy.

The Experience of Life

1 Cor. 12:24 But our comely members have no need. But God has blended the body together, giving more abundant honor to the member that lacked.

God has blended the Body together; when we blend together, we have the cross and the Spirit.

Blending means that we should always stop in order to fellowship with others; we should not do anything without fellowshipping with the other saints who are coordinating with us, because fellowship adjusts us harmonizes us, tempers us, and mingles us.

Practice and Application

In order to be blended for the reality of the Body of Christ, we have to go through the cross and be by the Spirit to dispense Christ to others for the building up of the Body of Christ.

PROPHESYING TOPICS—TWELVE TOPICS PER WEEK

Day 1

T1: The reality of the Body of Christ is absolutely organic (Rom. 12:4-5)

(Please illustrate that the completing ministry of the apostle Paul is altogether focused on the Body of Christ.)

T2: In Christ, indicates the organic union with Christ (Rom. 12:5)

(Please illustrate that when we remain in this organic union, we are in the Body.)

Day 2

T1: Without the Body the church makes no sense (Eph. 1:23a)

(Please illustrate that “which is His Body”, this indicates that the Body is the church’s intrinsic significance.)

T2: The difference between the church and the Body (Eph. 1:23)

(Please illustrate that the church is the frame for existing, the Body of Christ is the very organic contents; these two are one.)

Day 3

T1: The relationship between Zion and Jerusalem (1 Kings 8:1; Psa. 51:18)

(Please illustrate that Jerusalem typifies the whole body of the church, while Zion typifies the overcomers of the church.)

T2: The New Jerusalem is the totality of the overcomers (Rev. 19:7; 21:2)

(Please illustrate that the earlier overcomers, will be the bride of Christ for one thousand years; then they will join the later overcomers, to be the wife of Christ for eternity.)

Day 4

T1: God has blended the Body together (1 Cor. 12:24)

(Please illustrate what the word blended means.)

T2: To be blended means that and that you are touching others and you are touched by others (2 Cor. 2:2; Gal. 5:16)

(Please illustrate with experiences that when we blend together, we have the cross and the Spirit.)

Day 5

T1: The blending and fellowship of the Body life (Rom. 14:3; 15:7-9; 16:16)

(Please illustrate which two crucial matters are showed in the last three chapters of Roman.)

T2: The church is a bread, a cake, made of fine flour (2 Lev. 2:4; 1 Cor. 10:17)

(Please illustrate that the meal offering in Leviticus 2:4 consisted of cakes made of fine flour mingled with oil.)

Day 6

T1: [The] God-man, Jesus lived not by man’s life but by God’s life (John 16:13; Rom. 8:16)

(Please illustrate that the God-man living of Jesus, would be duplicated in the many members of Christ’s Body by the Spirit of reality to become the reality of the Body of Christ)

T2: The reality of the Body of Christ is not just a corporate living but a mingling living (Gal. 2:20; Phil. 3:10)

(Please illustrate with experiences that anyone who lives such a mingling life would never be a trouble to anyone.)
