Pray-reading the verses:

That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ, In whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.—Col. 2:2-3.

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, And you have been made full in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority.—Col. 2:9-10.

Word of Appetizer

What does the mystery mentioned in the Bible refer to? What are the five great mysteries in the Bible?

The mystery mentioned in the Bible refers not only to things hidden from us and unknown to us, but even more to things hidden in God’s heart; this is the principle concerning mystery in the Bible.

The five great mysteries in the Bible:

The mystery of the universe is God;

The mystery of man is also God;

The mystery of God is Christ;

The mystery of Christ is the church;

The mystery of the church is the organic body of Christ, His overflow and enlargement, the house of God, the golden lampstand, the bride, and the New Jerusalem.

Spiritual Burden

Colossians 2:2 says, “the mystery of God, Christ”; the mystery of God is revealed in Christ, so Christ is the mystery of God. Christ as the mystery of God is the embodiment of the fullness of the Godhead.

All the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ; as believers in Christ, we have been made full in Christ; we need to realize fully what we have in Christ and exercise faith to participate in all that we have in Christ.

Concluding Word of the Prophesying Meeting

The Revelation of the Truth

The mystery mentioned in the Bible refers not only to things hidden from us and unknown to us, but even more to things hidden in God’s heart; this is the principle concerning mystery in the Bible.

Colossians 2:2 says, “the mystery of God, Christ”; the mystery of God is revealed in Christ, so Christ is the mystery of God.

The All-Inclusive Christ is the mystery of God; Christ as the mystery of God is the embodiment of the fullness of the Godhead.

All the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ; as believers in Christ, we have been made full in Christ.

The Experience of Life

When the Son of God became flesh and became a man, He had the fullness of God, and we all received from this fullness.

All the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ; as believers in Christ, we have been made full in Christ; we believers have been put into the All-Inclusive and extensive Christ, united with Him, belonging to Him, and taking Him as our Husband; therefore, we are one with Him.

All that He has passed through is now our history; all that He has obtained and attained is our inheritance.

Practice and Application

If we want to know Christ as the mystery of God, we need to have a full experience of everything spoken of in Colossians 2:2.

If we do not exercise the spirit, we cannot touch the Lord, nor can we know Him as the mystery of God. If we want to know Him, we must not only exercise our spirit but also have our hearts comforted.

If we want to have all the riches of the full assurance of understanding in knowing Christ as the mystery of God, every part of our whole being must be exercised.

We need to realize fully what we have in Christ and exercise faith to participate in all that we have in Christ.
