Message Six

The Triune God in Christ Being Life to Us by Shining in Our Hearts

OPENING WORD OF THE PROPHESYING MEETING

Reading the verses in each day.

Reading the main points in the outlines.

Pray-reading the verses:

2 Cor. 4:6 Because the God who said, Out of darkness light shall shine, is the One who shined in our hearts for the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Rev. 22:4-5 They will see His face, and His name will be on their forehead…and they have no need of the light of a lamp and of the light of the sun, for the Lord God will shine upon them; and they will reign forever and ever.

Word of Appetizer

What is “the glory of God which is revealed in the face of Jesus Christ”?

The glory of God which is revealed in the face of Jesus Christ is the glorious God manifested in Jesus Christ; Jesus Christ is the radiance of the glory of God; knowing Him is knowing the glorious God.

The more God shines in our hearts, the more we shine on others, causing them to know the glory of God which is revealed in the face of Jesus Christ, which is to know the Christ who manifests and reveals God; the glorious gospel of Christ first shines into us, and then shines out from us.

Spiritual Burden

We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Concluding Word of the Prophesying Meeting

The Revelation of the Truth

“In whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.”

“The God who commanded light to shine out of darkness has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

“We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.”

“[They] shall see His face… the Lord God will give them light.”

The Experience of Life

“We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

The glory of the Lord refers to the glory of the resurrected and ascended Christ; He is the life-giving Spirit, dwelling in us, making Himself and all that He has accomplished, attained, and gained our reality, causing us to be one with Him and be transformed into the same image from glory to glory, so that He makes us just like Him.

Practice and Application

If one’s heart is not covered by anything, nor blinded by Satan, the god of this age, he can see the shining of the gospel light. We need to remove the veil, which means to let go of our concepts. The important thing is for us to pray, “Lord, help me remove anything that is a veil.”

“You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.” We are not only children of light, but also light itself; we are light because we are one with God in the Lord; when we are in the light, we are beyond right and wrong.
