THE EXTRACT OF THE OUTLINES

Scripture reading:

Exo. 3:15 And God also said to Moses, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

I. The God of Abraham (Exo. 3:15) is seen in His dealings with Abraham as follows: (Monday)

A. The God of Abraham is the God of glory, seen in His first appearing and first calling and first speaking to Abraham, acting as a great magnet and an immense driving power to Abraham to cause him to come out of the Satanic, idol-worshipping country—Gen. 11:31; Acts 7:2-4a.

B. The God of Abraham is the blessing God, seen in His second calling and second speaking to Abraham, promising that He would make him a great nation, make his name great, and make him a blessing to others, and that in him all the families of the earth would be blessed—Gen. 12:1-4. (Tuesday)

C. The God of Abraham is the God of the earth, in His second appearing with His third speaking, in promising Abraham that He would give the land of Canaan to his seed—Gen. 12:6-7. (Wednesday)

D. The God of Abraham is the Most High God, Possessor of heaven and earth, seen in His bringing His divine supply to Abraham and blessing him through His priest Melchizedek after Abraham fought with the four kings—Gen. 14:17-20. (Thursday)

E. The God of Abraham is the God who is a shield and an exceedingly great reward, seen in His fifth speaking to Abraham when Abraham was afraid of the vengeance of the four kings, pointing out to him that those who would be his heavenly descendants according to the divine nature would be as many as the stars of the heavens; Abraham believed Jehovah, and He accounted it to him as righteousness—Gen. 15:1-6.

F. The God of Abraham is the faithful God, seen in His sixth speaking to Abraham while Abraham was in a deep sleep, prophesying to him that his earthly descendants would sojourn in Egypt and be ill-treated for four hundred years, and would return to Canaan in the fourth generation, and making a covenant with Abraham to give the land to his descendants—Gen. 15:12-21.

G. The God of Abraham is the God of all-sufficiency, in His third appearing with His seventh speaking to Abraham, in being the God of circumcision to cut off His chosen people’s natural man in the flesh that they may become God’s new creation. (Friday)

H. The God of Abraham is the God with human friendship, seen in His coming as a man, with a human form, on a human level, to visit His friend Abraham, walking with him, and also talking to him, just as a man talks to a friend—Gen. 18—19. (Saturday)

I. The God of Abraham is the unchanging God, seen in His ninth speaking to Abraham, keeping His principle of grace and recognizing Isaac, the son born to Abraham of Sarah, as his only son—Gen. 21:1-12.

II. As a whole, the God of Abraham is the God of speaking in His appearing, with calling, in a vision, and in the human friendship, to unveil to His intimate friend on the earth what He aspired for him to be and what He wanted him to do according to His heart’s desire for the accomplishment of the eternal economy for the Divine Trinity.
