Message Ten

Governing Principles That We Need to See and Experience
in Order to Possess Christ as the Good Land 重试    错误原因

Opening Word of the Prophesying Meeting

Reading the verses in each day.

Reading the main points in the outlines.

Pray-reading the verses:

As therefore you have received Christ Jesus the Lord … walk in Him.—Col. 2:6-7.

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.—1 Cor. 6:17.

And He said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. And he said to Him, If Your presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.—Exo. 33:14-15.

Word of Appetizer

What is the governing principle of our entering into and possessing the reality of Christ as the good land?

The Lord’s presence, the Lord’s smile, is the governing principle of our entering into and possessing the reality of Christ as the good land; God’s presence is the way, the “map,” showing His people the way for them to go. According to the picture in Exodus, the Lord’s presence went before them, “leading them in the day by a pillar of cloud, and giving them light by night by a pillar of fire, that they might travel by day and by night. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.”

Spiritual Burden

If we would walk in Christ, that is, walk according to and by the reality of the good land as the consummating Spirit, we must see that the key to the spiritual fellowship of the regenerated tripartite man with the consummating Triune God is 1 Corinthians 6:17—“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.”

The Lord’s present recovery is to recover the Body of Christ (“that Christ”) in the church life; the Body of Christ is the mingled God; therefore, to walk in Christ is to walk in this Body of Christ, that is, in the mingled God.

Concluding Word of the Prophesying Meeting

The Revelation of the Truth

“As therefore you have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, walk in Him.”

We need to see that the One in whom we need to walk is Christ in His three stages of His full ministry.

The Lord’s present recovery is to recover the Body of Christ (“that Christ”) in the church life; the Body of Christ is the mingled God; therefore, to walk in Christ is to walk in this Body of Christ, that is, in the mingled God.

The Experience of Life

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit”; we set our mind on the spirit that we may have life and peace; when we walk by the spirit, we will by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh.

The up-to-date, living leading of God’s presence is by the Spirit or by the word; God, the word, and the Spirit are one, leading and guiding us day and night without ceasing; in the Christian life, day and night are the same, because the light from the pillar of fire turns night into day. Whenever the followers of the Lord meet with opposition, the leading light spontaneously becomes a protecting light; however, to the opposers this protecting light becomes darkness.

Practice and Application

To possess the all-inclusive Christ as the reality of the good land and to walk in Him, we need to have much thoroughgoing prayer in our living and serving, living and serving in the reality of the priestly function.

Whether the church is living, fresh, and rich depends on this one thing: we need to be filled with the Spirit all the time; to be filled with the Spirit all the time, we need to be willing, emptied, and praying persons.

PROPHESYING TOPICS—TWELVE TOPICS PER WEEK

Day 1

T1  Walking according to the Spirit is the center and key of the New Testament  (Col. 2:6-7; Gal. 5:16)

(Please illustrate that what it means to “walk according to the Spirit”.)

T2  The law of the Spirit of life has been installed within us  (Rom. 8:2)

(Please illustrate that the requirement of the law of righteousness is fulfilled naturally and unconsciously by the inward operation of the Spirit of life.)

Day 2

T1  In the end of Revelation, the Spirit and the bride (the church) speak as one  (1 Cor. 6:17; Rev. 22:17)

(Please illustrate that the entire revelation of the Bible is to show us the story of the love of a universal couple.)

T2  Today’s church life is a foretaste of the wedding day  (1 Cor. 6:17; Rev. 22:17)

(Please illustrate that the church, as the bride of Christ, is truly one with Christ.)

Day 3

T1  The progressive revelation of God in the Bible  (Gen. 1:1; John 20:22)

(Please illustrate that how the God in Genesis is different from the God in the Gospels.)

T2  The progressive revelation of God in the Bible  (Rev. 21:2)

(Please illustrate that in Revelation, God becomes the “married” God.)

Day 4

T1  To receive Christ is to receive the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12; Col. 2:6-7)

(Please illustrate that Christ is not only the Head, but also the Body.)

T2  Today, the Lord Jesus is no longer just a personal Christ, but a corporate Christ (1 Cor. 12:12; Col. 2:6-7)

(Why are most Christians today spiritually poor and weak?)

Day 5

T1  God’s immediate and living leading is given through the Spirit or the Word (1 Cor. 1:1-2; Psa. 119:105)

(Please illustrate that the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire symbolize God Himself, because God is both Spirit and Word.)

T2  “My presence shall go with you” (Exo. 33:14-15)

(Please illustrate with examples that His going is one thing, and His presence going is another.)

Day 6

T1  The tabernacle was designed by God Himself, but it was not built by God directly  (Exo. 31:3)

(Please illustrate that God cannot build His dwelling place by Himself, He can only build it through willing and emptied vessels.)

T2   The Christian life is a life of prayer (Col. 4:2)

(Please illustrate with experiences that we need to be willing to negotiate with the Lord, and even make vows to Him, that we will be people of prayer.)
